| Things needed: PSP 9 or 10 Animation Shop Supply folder Flaming Pear Filter (Flood) (my Preset for flaming pear is in the folder) Ok grab your drink and snacks, and let's get to work! 1. Open your tube in psp. 2. Open a new transperent image 600 X 600 3. Flood fill your canvas with black right click and copy your tube, now paste it as a new layer. Move the tube up near the top of the canvas. Now Hide the black layer. 4. go to effects ~ Flaming Pear ~ flood and load my preset ( This the button to use to load a preset ) 5. Now Grab your freehand tool, and use these settings.. Selection Type: Point to Point Mode: Add(shift) Feather: 0 Smoothness : 0 Anti-Alias Checked Now draw around the "ripples" and right click ~ copy, now press the deleate key on your keyboard, select none. Now right click and paste as a new layer. Now move this layer down so it's below the owl and move it over like mine. 6. Now set your foreground to the gold pattern enclosed in the supply folder and your background color to #efefed now select your preset shapes tool and select the Elipse shape, and use these settings... Anti-alias checked Create as a vector checked Line style : Solid Width : 3 Join: Miter miter Limit: 5 Now draw a cecent moon in the upper right hand side of your canvas. Select None, and now convert it to a raster layer. and move it below your owl tube. (That way it looks like the "ripples" are ther because of the moonlight). 7. Now hide the layer with the owl, and higlight the moon, now grab your majic wand, and click inside of the moon, go to selections ~ modify ~ contract by: 24 now right click on the owl head that i enclosed in the folder, and copy. Activate your canvas..go to layers ~ new raster layer. and on the new raster layer, paste into selection. Select none. 8. grab your mover tool and move the owl head to the right but keep it inside of the moon. and lower the opicaty of this layer to 44 9. now highlight the layer that we filled with black, go to selections ~ select all~ selections ~ modify ~ contract ~ 20 pixals. Selections ~ invert 10. now add a new raster layer, and flood fill the selection with the gold pattern. now go to selections ~ modify ~ contract ~ 3 pixals, and hit your deleate button on your keyboard. And move this layer to the top of your layer pallet. You might have to move your moon and the owl head some so it's not inbetween the 2 gold lines. 11. Now go to image ~ resize... and resize your canvas to 300 X 300 pixals... make sure that the resize all layers is checked and resize using Bicubic is checked and maintain aspect ratio is checked and the setting there should be 1.000 Now is the time to add any text and watermarks. 12. Now highlight the layer that is your "ripples" ... go to adjust ~ Add/Remove noise ~ add Noise and use these settings... Uniform: checked Monochrome: checked Noise: 15% 13. now right click on your canvas and copy merged... and paste it over to Animation Shop as a new animation. 16. now back in PSP click your undo button and change the Noise to 20% and repeat step 13 but paste it after currnt frame. 17. now repeat the above step but change the Noise to 25% and repeat step 13 again and paste it after current frame. now animate it and save it. Congrats! you're done! |
