Scrap Kit “I want to be
a cowgirl” by Scrap N Tags
(Thanks Carolyn for the great scrap kit's)
1. Open a new
transparent image W: 650 H: 450 pixels
2. Duplicate
the frames named SNT_Cowgirl_Frame1 and close out the original. And resize it to
300 X 300 pixels. And copy it. Now paste it onto your canvas as a new layer. And
move it to the left side of the canvas. Now duplicate it and go to image ~
mirror.
3. Take your
magic wand tool and click on the inside of the frame on the left (make sure that
layer is active), and then go to selections ~ modify ~ expand by 15.
4. Add a new
raster layer, and flood fill it with white. Now add another new raster layer,
and copy the mist included in the supply folder and paste it into the selection,
select none. Now change the blend mode to luminance (L) and lower the opacity to
about 46. Now merge down. Move the frame above the merged layer. Then merge
down.
5. Make the
frame on the right active, Take your magic wand tool and click on the inside of
the frame and then go to selections ~ modify ~ expand by 15. And add a new
raster layer. And then flood fill
it with white as well. Select none. And move the frame above this layer. Merge
down.
6. Now
duplicate the SNT_Cowgirl_WineBarrel and resize it to 25% and copy it, and paste
it onto your canvas as a new layer. And move it to the bottom right, and
duplicate it, and then go to image ~ mirror. And it will place it on the left
frame. Now move it so it is above the left frame layer. Do this with the
SNT_Cowgirl_Hat2 as well.
7. So as of
right now if you look at your layer pallet you should have a (R)hat, (R)barrel,
(R)frame, (L)hat, (L)barrel, (L)frame, blank layer. Hide the bottom 4 layers,
and merge visible. Now hide the top layer, and unhide the frame and the hat and
the barrel and merge visible.
8. Now unhide
your layers, you should only have 3 now. Activate your top layer ( which should
be the frame on the right) and duplicate the SNT_Cowgirl_WordArt3 and resize it
to 196 X 61 and copy it and paste it as a new layer, and move it to the top
right ( see my tag as an example). Add your text and water mark. Merge down.
9. Now grab
your Pick Tool, and make the left frame active, now… press your SHIFT key on
your keyboard and hold it, place the cursor at the top right corner, and pull
down, this will bring that corner down. You don’t want to bring it down to much,
and do the same with the bottom right corner but bring it up. When you are
happy with the look of it, do these same steps with the right frame but the left
top and left bottom corner. You want the two sides to match up, because you are
going to “connect” them. The look we are going for is a picture frame as if it
was sitting on a table or shelf.
10. Now copy
your tube and paste it as a new layer, and move it to the left.
11. Merge
visible once you have it looking the way you want it.
Now you can
either copy it and paste it over to Animation Shop or you can save it as a .psp
file then open it in AS. This all depends on the version that you are using. I
know that in PSP XI if you copy and paste it to Animation shop you will get a
white background.
12. Once you
have the tag over in Animation Shop, Open the horse animation. And duplicate
your tag so you have 5 frames. Now make the animated horse active, and go to
edit ~ select all ~ edit ~ copy. And now make your tag active, and go to edit ~
select all ~ edit ~ paste ~ into selected frame, and place it where you want it
on/in the frame on the right.
Animate it and you are done!
