Ok grab your
snack, drink and whatever else that you like to have while making tags and doing
tutorials.
Open the tube MyTree.psp
and duplicate it (Shift+D) and close out the original.
Now go to image – resize
canvas and resize your canvas to 550 X 550 pixels, and chose the center
right. This way the tree will be placed to the right of the canvas. And
rename them tree 1 and tree 2
Now highlight the tube
layer on the image Purple Santa.psp and copy it. And past it onto the
canvas with the tree on it as a new layer.
Now duplicate the Santa
layer and name them Santa 1 and Santa 2
Now move Santa 1 above
the tree 1 layer and merge down. And do the same with the tree 2 and Santa 2
layers.
Now right click and copy
the tube named Dove1a and paste it as a new layer onto your canvas. Now grab
your mover tool and move it to Santa’s hand that is outstretched by the
tree. Now do the same with the tube named Dove1b. Now magnify your canvas …
now move the second dove on top of the first one. And align it up so the
heads of the doves are on top of one another. The bodies will match up but
the wings wont. And rename these layers dove 1a and dove 1b.
Now if you want to add
the second dove, do the same thing as above. And when you have the second
dove where you want it, rename those layers to dove 2a and dove 2b.
Now move the dove 1a
down so it is on top of the bottom layer, and the layer dove 2a should be
moved to where it is on top of the dove 1a layer and merge down the dove 1a
and dove 2a, now merge down again so you have them merged to the bottom
layer. Repeat this step for the top 3 layers. Once you have merged down you
should only have 2 layers. Now add a new raster layer, and flood fill it
with the color of your choice, I used #4a0341 now move this layer to the
bottom, and duplicate it. Move the duplicate layer up one spot, so it is
under the top Santa tube. Now activate the top Santa tube and merge down.
Now activate the other Santa tube and merge down. Now you should only have 2
layers again.
Now we are going to add
your text. You can either use a font of your choice or the one that I
provided in the supply folder. Before I added my text, I resized my tag to
450 X 450 pixels. Once you have your text how you like it, I added a drop
shadow to mine and used a gold outline, if you would like the gold pattern
that I used, just click
HERE……convert it to a raster layer. And then
duplicate it. Now move one of your text layers above the bottom Santa
layer, and merge down. And then make the top text layer active, and merge
down that one with the top Santa layer.
Now you should have 2
layers. Save them as a .psp image.
Open your .psp image in
Animation Shop.... animate it and save it and you’re done!
