Supplies
needed:
Paint Shop Pro
version 7 or higher
(I did this with version 12)
Supply folder
Install the
frame that I included in the supply folder if you don’t already have it ( If you
are using PSP 12 you should have it)
1. Open a
new transparent image 450 X 450 pixels.
2. Now set
your foreground color to #bac5cb and your background to #7a848e (If you use a
different tube then the one in the supply folder, you will need to get a light
and a dark color from you tube to use and place the lighter color in the
foreground box)
3. Now flood
fill your canvas with your foreground color. And then go to effects ~ Texture
effects ~ Blinds
and use these settings:
Width:11
Opacity:11
color:
#7a848e (or your background color)
Horizontal and Light from left/Top checked
4. Now add a
new transparent raster and flood fill it with your background color and repeat
the step above but for the color use #bac5cb (your foreground color)
5. Now go to
selections ~ select all ~ modify ~contract ~ by 35
Now go to selections again and then choose invert, now press the delete key on
your keyboard and select none.
6. Now
activate your mover tool and move that layer to the upper left of the tag.
7. Go to
effects ~ 3D effects ~ Drop shadow
and use these settings:
V:13
H:17
Opacity:63
Blur:15
8. Go to
selections ~Load/Save selection ~ from alpha channel
9. Add a new
raster layer. Now flood fill the area inside of the marching ants with your
foreground color. And repeat step # 3. Select none. Now add a drop shadow using
the same settings as before.
10. Go to
selections ~ select all ~ selections ~ float.
Add a new raster layer.
11. Grab your
cloning tool and select a part of your tube and over on your tube left click to
select an area of the tube that you want to put into the top half of the
selection. Then go to your work in progress and left click in the inside of the
selection and it will put the image there. Now repeat this step for the bottom
half of the selection. ****The size that I used was 94, you will need to
adjust this according to the tube that you use. Select none.
12. Now lower
the opacity of this layer to about 56.
13. Resize your
tube as needed ( I resized mine to 400 X 403 ).
14. Add a drop
shadow to your tube layer and move it down near the bottom ( See mine as an
example).
15. Add your
text and merge all.
16. Go to Image
` Picture Frame and add the frame. Merge all and save your tag and you are
done!!
