Locket Of Love

Supplies Needed:
PSP 9
Animation Shop
My PSP Image
Picture of you choice.

1. Open the Enclosed PSP Image, now duplicate it (SHIFT + D) and close out the original.

2. Now grab your test tool and put whatever text that you wa on the front of the locket. I used a script font with the color of #006633

3. Now hide the top layer, grab your majic wand tool, and click on the inside of the heart (now make sure you have the bottom layer highlighted,i say this because i have forgotten to make the correct layer active, LOL )

4. Now go to selections, modify, expand by 2.

5. Add a new raster layer.

6. Now make your picture active, and copy it. And then click on your canvas and "Paste into selection", then select none.

7. Now, move the layer that has the picture down to the bottom, and merge down. I put my watermark on this layer.

8. Unhide the top layer. Now Copy Merge.. and paste it as a new animation over in AS.... Select your deform tool in PSP, if you are using 9 it should be right below the Pan tool (the hand).

9. Now you should see a box around the heart, with nodes. go to the middle node on the right hand side, and move it to the left. then "copy merged.

10. Now paste it over to AS as after current frame. And head back to PSP.

11. Now move the same node to the left again, and copy merged again, and paste it over in AS after the current frame. and then head back to PSP.

12. Repete the above step untill it looks like the locket is totally open.

13. Now In AS, go to edit, select all, copy. Now click on your last frame, and Paste after current frame. Now, mine has 8 frames you may have more or less, click on the frame that has the "closed locket" it is not the first frame, for me it was frame 9. Hold down your shift key and then click on the very last frame, this will "highlight" those frames, now go to animation, reverse frames.

14. What we just did by reversing the frames, is when we animate it , it will open and close. not just open, then "poof" it's closed!

15. now once again go to edit, select all... then click on animation, frame properties, and change it from 10 to 30. Now, if you want it to stay closed more, click on the first frame and higher the number for the frame properties. I changed frames, 1, 7, 8 and 14 to 70.

16. Now animate and save it and you're finished! If you need any help just email me.
