Supplies needed:
PSP 8,9,X or XI
I did this in X with some few adjustments it can be done in 8 and 9
Animation Shop Eye Candy 4 Supply folder
or tubes of your choice
Now once you have your filters installed open PSP and let’s get started.
1. Open a new image 500 X 500 background white.
2. Go to selections – select all and add a new raster layer.
3. Now copy the tube layer of the SKF_Heaven021.07 and paste it “Into
Selection”. Now what I did next is I placed my mouse pointer at the edges of my
canvas and left clicked and pulled my canvas to resize the window so I could
grab my mover tool (Raster deform tool in versions 8 and 9) and stretched the
cloud mist. You can do this if you choose to do so. By dragging the window sides
you will just extend the window and not the actual canvas. It helps when using
the deform/pick tool Now change the opacity of this layer to around 44.
4. Now make the image named SKF_EyeCry2811.06 active and make the tube layer
active on your layer pallet, and copy it. And then paste it onto your canvas as
a new layer. Now using the pick/raster deform tool ( depending what version of
psp you are using) resize the tube to fit into the canvas and place it to the
left hand side and lower the opacity to about 67.
5. Now copy the tube FemaleMistBW and paste it as a new layer and move it to the
bottom right hand side.
Now if you want to add a simple frame you can do so by going to selections –
select all – selections modify by 15. Selections – invert and add a new raster
layer. And flood fill it with a color of your choice, add the effect of your
choice and then add an inner bevel or a glass effect. And move it to the top if
it isn’t already there.
6. Now hide the FemaleMistBW layer and the frame layer ( if you added a frame)
and merge visible.
Now add your text.
7. Now unhide the FemaleMistBW layer and make sure it is active on your layer
pallet. Now grab your freehand tool and your selection type should be point to
point and the mode should be Add(shift) feather 0 and anti-alias unchecked. Now
you are going to “Draw” some sections in the hair part of the tube( See my
example below)
8. Now go to effects – plug in’s – Eye Candy 4000 Jiggle and use the settings
below.
9. Now select none. And if you have a frame that is still hidden, unhide it and
copy merged. And then paste it over to Animation Shop as a new animation.
10. Now back to PSP click your undo button 3 times. And then go back to the
jiggle effect and click on the random seed button like 2 times and then repeat
the previous step but paste it over to Animation Shop “After current frame”. And
you will need to repeat this step once more.
11. Now over in animation shop, go to edit, select all – animation – frame
properties- and change it from 10 to 20. And now animate it, save it, and you’re
done!!
