Supplies
needed:
1. Open a new transparent canvas 600 X 600 Pixels (this can be resized later). 2. Set your background color to black and then select your preset shape tool, and select a heart. If you don’t have any I put 2 of the ones that I have in the supply folder. Draw a heart on your canvas, you want it to reach almost side to side, but not the height of the canvas. 3. Now convert it to a raster layer. Go to selections ~ select all ~ float ~ defloat. Now go back to selections and modify ~ contract by 25 and promote section to layer. And now make your original heart layer active, and press the delete key on your keyboard. Now select none. 4. Now make your top heart layer active, Go to selections ~ select all ~ float ~ defloat. Now go back to selections and modify ~ contract by 25 and press the delete key on your keyboard. Now select none. 5. Make the first heart layer active, and grab your magic wand tool and click on the inside of the heart, and go to selections ~ modify ~ expand by 4, now add a new raster layer and flood fill it with a color from your tube. Now make the top heart layer active, and select all ~ float ~ defloat, now activate the middle heart layer, and press delete on your keyboard. 6. Now activate the top heart once again (you should still have the marching ants) and go to effects ~ MuRa - clouds and apply the cloud effect. Play with the settings until you get the effect that you want. Select none. 7. With your top layer active, add a new raster layer start placing the gems. I colorized mine to match my tube. Place the gems around on the outside of the heart. I added mine as selections. Then select none, and merge down. You may need to resize the gem to fit. 8. Now arrange your layers as so: The outside heart (the one with the gems) at the top, then the colored outline, and the solid heart on the bottom. 9. Now set your foreground color to the color from your tube, and the background color to black, and select your preset tool, and select the rectangle shape, and set your width to 5 and draw a rectangle. And then place it so the sides of it are covered by the middle heart layer. See my tag as an example. Once you have it placed and the thickness of it like you want it. Convert it to a raster layer. 10. Add your tube as a new layer 11. Now put whatever text that you want in there. 12. Now add your name with the font of your choice. The one I used is in the supply folder.
Now let’s get started on the final steps of the tag….The animation. If you want to resize it do so now. 13. Make the middle heart active (this is the one that you used the color from your tube), go to effects - Greg Factory 2 – Pool Shadow. And use the settings below: And then copy merged and paste it over to animation shop. If you are using PSP 11 you will have to paste it as a new image in PSP, due to the fact that it will have a white background if you paste it over to AS. Instead of pasting frame by frame over to AS (if using PSP 11) paste as a new layer then save it as a .psp extension, when you have a total of 5 layers, then open it in AS. 13. Click your undo button, and increase the settings by 10 except the intensity and lightness. Leave those alone. And repeat the steps above for pasting it over to AS. Do these steps until you have a total of 4 frames/layers.
Animate it and save it and you are finished!
